Ibisring

The Ibis day(s) 2011 will take place in the weekend of October 15th and 16th, 2011 at Walsrode Bird park.

The agenda

Saturday

• We will drive in small groups to the Bird park which we will hope to reach by noon.
• Check-in at the cash desk (entrance fee is included).
• Possibility to have lunch at the “Rosenhof”, where we will get together.
• In the afternoon guided tour with the biologists (focused on ibises and related bird species).
• Partially spend leisure time in the Park until closing hour.
• Dinner (included) at the Rozenhof.
• Quiz: world championship “ibis expert 2011” Walsrode.
• Presentation: ibises in Walsrode in the past, the present and the future.
• Possibility to exchange experiences and have a late drink
• Stay the night - Accommodation (included) at the Luise Hotel (opposite the Park).

Sunday

• Breakfast (included).
• “Ibisring” meeting in the Park you can except among other things a lecture about … ibises.
• Possibility to pay a special visit to the park e.g. in connection with specific questions
• The rest of the day you can spend your time as you please.
